JOB DESCRIPTION:

KOAT-TV seeks a proven Digital Sales Manager to provide energized leadership for our digital sales initiatives. REQUIREMENTS:

Experience Requirements

  • Have a complete understanding of current digital marketing strategies including synergist values with other media.
  • Understanding of pricing and inventory management principles.
  • Ability to dissect an advertising RFP; identify key revenue opportunities, and prepare comprehensive and winning response.
  • Ability to prospect, meet with, and close business with new station clients.
  • Possess the skills to manage and supervise others.

On Air Program Director

JOB DESCRIPTION:

American General Media/Albuquerque seeks an On Air Program Director for two very active formats. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidate will perform weekday airshift on HOT A/C brand.  Are you a PD working for a corporate parent that kills your creativity? 

REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years experience working in contemporary programming (Rhythmic CHR, Top 40 and/or Hot A/C), a firm understanding of competitive and winning  formatic strategies.   Your understanding of social networking, talent development, digital content creation, marketing (on air, on site and on line), production and community service must be as superb as your ability to lead your staff by example and consistently deliver a winning on-air product.  Candidate should have superior music scheduling skills and Zetta/RCS Automation knowledge.

Promo Tech

JOB DESCRIPTION:

American General Media Albuquerque location is looking for a Promotions Technician for our 6 station cluster. The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic and willingness to represent all stations regardless of format and a clean driving record is required. Experience with computers and bi-lingual is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include maintaining a strong presence at all station events (remotes, festivals, concerts, etc.) including:

  • Hanging banners, setting up sound equipment, setting up tents, checking the van before leaving for remotes for all needed supplies.
  • Acting as a representative of our station(s) at any and all events or remotes including interaction with the listeners and complying with client requests.
  • Maintain station vehicles (clean them and make sure they’re stocked)
  • Office duties as they arise including making registration forms, running errands for promotions department, making copies, etc. When in the office during scheduled times, use this time to make sure that the station vehicles are clean and adequately stocked
  • Additional duties as they arise
