The Audio and Music Advisor (hereinafter “Advisor”) is the primary professional support for KCSU FM 90.5 and its student leaders.  The Advisor is one member of a five-member professional team at RMSMC.  The advisor reports to the RMSMC CEO.

Salary and work hour requirements:

The starting salary is expected to be in the $37,500 to $42,000 per year range (see note below about an additional CSU academic salary) for a 35 hours a week minimum commitment. The position at RMSMC includes generous vacation and sick leave benefits as well as company contributions for retirement (after a waiting period) and if needed, contributions to an individual health and dental plans. 

The position allows for teaching a one credit Radio Workshop class per semester in the Journalism and Mass Communication Department at Colorado State University (depending on approval of Journalism Department Chair). The time required for this assignment is outside of the 35 hour a week RMSMC commitment. If accepted, this RMSMC professional staff member will receive an additional salary of $1,500 per semester directly from CSU.  If qualified, there is also an opportunity to teach a 3 credit audio production class one semester a year.
