Boncom Jr. Video Editor Intern

We are currently looking for a video editor intern to join us. In this role, you will support the video team in the execution of video products for Boncoms clients. This is a full-time (40 hours), paid internship located in downtown Salt Lake City, UT. Duration will be 3 months, or 90 days.

 Specific Video Editing Responsibilities:

We are interested in candidates proficient in Adobe Premiere. (This is a requirement).
Edit and/or oversee video output for Boncom.
Assist the Post-Production Supervisor in keeping projects on schedule.
Be proactive in finding solutions when experiencing technical problems.
Learn new techniques and keep skills up to date.
Represent Boncom professionally at all times.


General Administrative Responsibilities:

Proactively ask the Producer and Post Production Supervisor for meaningful ways to add value and provide support.
Support the daily activity of all assigned jobs/projects
Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure work is delivered on time and on budget.


Key Qualifications:

College students majoring in communications, business, marketing, fine arts, film studies, or related fields will be highly considered.
Spanish language skills truly a plus.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere.
Time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Interest in video production trends.
Basic video editing experience.
Must be able to craft/tell a story.
Experience with pulling video, audio and music.
Experience editing music to video.
Natural collaborator and team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
