We currently own and operate 22 radio stations in Seattle, Phoenix, Denver, Sacramento, San Francisco and Salt Lake City, along with the NBC Affiliate TV station, KSL TV 5, in Salt Lake. We are looking for a part-time on-air host to provide support to our Salt Lake music stations KSFI FM 100.3 and KRSP 103.5 The Arrow. Our ideal candidate will be a passionate musicologist who is socially savvy and can connect with our audience and clients.
Production / on air demos required
Act as one of the faces of KSFI and/or KRSP on the air, on social media and at live events
Connect with and grow our social media audience through podcasts and video on a variety of platforms
Host a midday/weekday live show as schedule requires; manage content, phone lines and contests
Interact professionally with listeners and provide a compelling, interactive experience
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Extensive knowledge of multiple music genres including Adult Contemporary and Classic Rock
Excellent oral and written communication and creative skills
Experience writing promotional / marketing material
College degree or equivalent experience in Broadcasting, Communications or related field preferred
VCreative, Adobe Suite experience preferred
Experience with social media, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat
Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
A high level of proficiency with computers, software and ability to learn new technologies
Capable and willing to resolve unexpected problems and be flexible to perform unscheduled assignments
Maintain a valid drivers license and proven ability to safely drive personal vehicle without exposing company to serious liability risks
Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion.
