Midwest Communictions has an immediate opening for a Digital Content Director. This individual will be responsible for the direction and strategy of content initiatives for our digital properties. This includes but is not limited to News, Blogs, Podcasts, Social Media and other digital content.
The Digital Content Director will assist the VP of Digital in creating an overall content strategy for the Company and ensure the competitiveness of the Companys digital content products. Additionally, this position will ensure that the standards and strategies that they set are communicated throughout the entire Company and adhered to by all markets. Developing relationships with internal and external content producers to ensure that the Companys content is continually updated with high quality creations that will deliver quality traffic to the Company brands and assets is expected.
This position will work closely with the Lead Director of Digital Sales Development to monetize content into effective revenue streams and will be responsible for staying on top of digital technologies ensuring that the Company is at the forefront of emerging digital content trends.
The individual were looking for has experience as a digital content producer. Experence managing teams of content producers is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. The ability to create presentations and convey technical material to non-technical people is necessary. We offer a competitive salary, bonus program as well as a full benefits package.
