Executive/Sales Assistant


Rich Broadcasting is looking for an experienced, self-motivated Executive/Sales Assistant, who is willing to work hard, has great organization and time management skills, is attentive to detail and has the ability to multi-task amid constant interruptions.  As an Executive/Sales Assistant, you will provide administrative/clerical support to both the Market Manager and Sales Manager. 



•  Welcome visitors and answer/transfer telephone calls in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner

·   Ensure that all sales orders are filled out correctly and that sales rates are in compliance with company rate card

·   Process all regional and national sales orders (i.e., receive, enter, and revise sales orders as well as coordinate copy and production)

·   Provide regular industry, market and/or station(s) updates/communication to all national and regional clients

·   Assist sales manager in developing one sheets, sales packages, sponsorships and promotional packages

·   Assist sales department by providing support on research, reports, recaps and assisting with the creation, proofing and assembly of sales marketing materials

·   Coordinate/facilitate all station efforts for radio advertising promotions, on-location remotes, and/or community service events

·   Manage all customer databases/lists

·   Organize all internal management, sales and/or staff meetings

·   Maintain public inspection file and help protect the FCC license for each station

·   Maintain appropriate records/receipts for all stations’ listener prizes/give-a-ways 

·   Cross train and act as a backup for the Traffic and Continuity Coordinator

·   Provide excellent customer service to existing and potential clients to maintain and develop business relationships

·   Be knowledgeable of Rich Broadcasting, its stations, station(s) events and promotions

·   Maintain a positive and cooperative rapport with staff, management, and clients

·   Represent Rich Broadcasting in the highest regard within the community and business environment

·   Work in compliance with company policies and procedures

·   Other duties as assigned by management






Skills & Abilities Required

·   Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

·   Attentive to detail with great organization and time management skills

·   Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

·   Flexible with hours and weekends

·    Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion

Education Required
• High School Diploma

Preferred, But Not Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Business and or Marketing, or equivalent experience
