On-Air Morning Show Host


SummitMedia Greenville is currently looking for a full-time talent to join our Hot 98.1 (WHZT) Morning Show as a Morning Show Host. We are seeking a passionate, positive and goal-oriented individual. The ideal candidate must be able to generate excellent content to distribute on-air and on-line. Candidate will be expected to be connected to the community, and available for many station appearances.


A 4.5 hour on-air show and weekend swing, production, music scheduling and show-specific web duties are a part of the daily responsibilities. You will be live Monday through Friday and required to do appearances as required. Ideal candidate must be great at creating compelling content with in a more music show. Experience with Music Master scheduling software and Adobe Audition and basic business software/hardware (i.e., Microsoft Word) are required.


MINIMUM of 2 years commercial radio experience in contemporary music is REQUIRED, no exceptions. This is not an entry level position. Candidate must have an ideal mix of personality and skills specific to the broadcast industry. Experience with Music Master scheduling software and Adobe Audition are required. Familiarity with Maestro studio equipment or similar is required. Must have confidence and temperament to meet and interact daily with listeners and clients on the phone and at public events. Good client customer skills are a must. Must work well with other on-air talent, listeners, promotions team and sales staff.
