Event Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

ETV is seeking an Event Coordinator, this is a full time position, Monday- Friday (8:30a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) with a State Salary Range: $32,838.00 - $60,760.00 Annually.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Schedule, plan, coordinate and effectively execute events and meetings at SCETV for both outside clients and in-house personnel.  Arrange, set up and strike all materials needed for the events/meetings.  Develop a logistical feel, look and mood of an event/meeting.  Enter data and create work orders in ScheduALL.  Submit timely contracts and billing requests.  Create informative ways to market SCETV resources as an event venue.

REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

-A bachelors degree and relevant program experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-A bachelors degree and a minimum of three (3) years experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

-Periodic evening and weekend work is required in this position.  Considerable amount of walking and/or standing is involved.  Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
