Digital Sales Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

KNOE TV is in need of an experienced Digital Sales Coordinator. This position will lead our sales department by pricing, packaging, and selling all digital advertising products for station customers and prospects. Digital advertising sales is key including knowledge of online advertising terminology , metrics, and pricing strategies on both desktop and mobile platforms . Strong oral and written communications skills are a must, ability to present advertising proposals to groups of prospects , customers, and KNOE TV staff is a plus. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to work both internally and externally with a wide variety of personalities . Knowledge of Nielsen, Scarborough, Marketron, Wide Orbit and AdMall preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and Word.

 

This position is full-time at 40 hours a week. Full-time employment includes all currently offered company benefits at time of hire.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Provide  Leadership  and Support for  Digital  Sales Processes  and Products
Set packaging and pricing for digital media products
Sell digital media advertising directly to clients and provide appropriate support  and follow up
Support Account  Executive  digital media  sales efforts

Provide updated  information regarding  digital media  products
Provide appropriate support and follow up for Account Executives and their clients
Provide  appropriate  input regarding  digital  creative processes
Track all station digital revenue  and  products
Support renewal and repeat business by providing and demonstrating roi and value
Train staff as needed
 

 

Provide Leadership  and Support for  Digital  Vision and Strategy
1. Champion the digital sales efforts for KNOE TV both internally to staff and externally to advertisers and the community

Provide leadership for the establishment of new and updated features and functionality for both current and future digital products
Participate in collaborative decision making processes regarding creation and launch of future digital products
Conduct ongoing research regarding digital media technology, trends and forecasts, and share discoveries appropriately and regularly
Train staff as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

Skills  and Experience Required
•    Digital advertising sales experience and knowledge of online advertising terminology, metrics, and pricing strategies

•    Ability to clearly communicate value to both prospects and customers; lead and assist team of sales professionals and management to reach revenue goals

•    Strong oral and written communications skills are fundamental to creating and persuasively presenting digital products and packages to the market

•    Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and its various components; ability to quickly master a constantly changing variety of software applications  and simultaneously  integrate these  applications  into daily  workflow

•    Must be able to adopt a variety of roles within the station helping sales staff sell, creative staff develop effective advertising, help our advertising clients succeed, and keep up with the constantly developing environment of digital advertising

•    Team player is a must

•    Self-starter with a strong work ethic, clean driving record, strong references, and able to contribute from day 1
