One of the nation’s largest and most cutting-edge public media companies is seeking a tech savvy, driven professional who is interested in learning and working in multiple facets of our high-performing Marketing and Communications team. The ideal candidate for the position of Marketing Producer Coordinator has experience writing and producing video for broadcast and the web and understands the nuances between these platforms. He or she has a passion for the nonprofit/public media sector and a desire to be an extraordinary marketer through a mastery of basics, such as copywriting/editing, social media engagement, website content updates and maintenance. Finally, this person is an exemplary project manager, with experience multitasking, meeting deadlines and working collaboratively. 


TYPICAL DUTIES:  Assists in cross-platform Marketing campaigns involving multiple deliverables and cross-departmental collaboration. Provides video production support for Marketing and Development.

Tells stories and communicates our organization’s brand through video, audio and copywriting. Writes, shoots and edits video and audio for multiple platforms (online/on-air). Creates marketing and branding campaigns that are deployed across all of Rocky Mountain Public Broadcasting Network’s platforms, increasing revenue, fulfilling underwriting needs and building brand. Edits for scripts, press releases, online copy and other communication materials. Assists in social media and website management for both RMPBS and KUVO.  Cross-trains on multiple Marketing positions and across other departments depending on interests and talents. Other duties, as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field required. Proven ability to tell stories effectively and distinctly for broadcast, radio, web and social media. Experience working with DSLR and HD cameras and knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Applications (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, etc). Some experiencing producing content for a brand on social media. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong computer skills in all Microsoft Office applications, basic content management system (CMS) or website management knowledge preferred. Demonstrated ability to work and use good judgment under pressure, meet deadlines, work with a team, take direction from various directors, and work within the established budget essential. Ability to lift and carry production equipment up to 50lbs. Possesses valid driver’s license and an acceptable Motor vehicle reports (MVR), insurable for driving station vehicles.
