KRSP-FM/KSFI-FM Music Station Digital Content Producer / Social Media Specialist (Full-Time #5051)


Position Purpose:


The content designer will design creative solutions that promote user adoption, and ease of use to support the business needs. The content designer will work collaboratively with other teams taking a project from conception, through analysis, prototyping, visual design, finally to implementation. 

This multidiscipline position calls for a technically savvy person that is equal parts: research analyst, information architect, interaction designer, and visual designer. Candidate must possess a working knowledge of front end coding practices.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & DistributionProduce written, graphic and video content
Deploy content across all digital outlets and content management systems.
Ensure accuracy of program and promotions schedules online
Edit and proofread a variety of content types for the website, ensuring it meets style, tone and marketing message requirements, as well as reflecting our brands
Daily blog posts for both stations
Video and multimedia content production
Manage affiliate marketing efforts and revenue driving content opportunities

Social Media"Voice of Brand" for both 103.5 THE ARROW and FM100.3 on all social media platforms
Assist and advise talent and executives on their personal social accounts
Build and implement social media strategies
Social correspondent for events

Project ManagementOwn projects end-to-end as assigned
Managing all design assets and digital promotions
Point person for creative promotional concepts.
Create and coordinate Stations digital marketing efforts

Thought LeadershipAct as point-person and in-house "expert" for content creation, publishing and new technologies and trends
Social training for staff
Guide teams on best practices

Minimum Qualifications: 

1 - 3 years of web and/or digital content experience
Prior experience producing for a website or digital property
A deep interest in both classic rock and Top 40 music
Must have personally published over 100 articles or blog posts
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Requirements and General Skills:

Experience with CMS and web publishing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Top-notch spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills
Meticulous attention to details; strong organizational skills
Proven track record of success producing digital content in sports, music, entertainment or news
Familiarity with a variety of online marketing concepts, best practices and procedures
Ability to get things done through formal channels and an informal network
Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
Strong analytical, prioritization, problem-solving and negotiating skills
Willingness to work off-hours, events and remotes
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects
Perform other duties as assigned

Technical Skills:

Working knowledge of HTML and content publishing tools; XML, CSS and Flash a plus
Extensive experience with WordPress and/or other content management systems
Strong understanding of web production and deployment principles/best practices
Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and basic knowledge of the entire Adobe Create Suite.
Expert knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Strong working knowledge of social networking tools, e.g. Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
Knowledge of SEO best practices
Experience working with scheduling databases or project management software a plus


Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion.
