Membership Communications Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:
One of the nationís largest and most cutting-edge public media companies is seeking a driven, customer-focused person, with a passion for digital fundraising and communications to our 70,000+ members across the state of Colorado. The ideal candidate for this position has a passion for the nonprofit/public media sector and a desire to lead successful digital marketing and fundraising strategies to acquire, retain and migrate members up the ladder of engagement.

This position serves as the Eloqua administrator for the organization and works closely with the Development and Marketing teams to create and execute digital fundraising and communications strategies while testing new ideas and measuring results to increase revenue and member engagement. In addition, this person works within Eloqua and roundCause/Salesforce to segment audience data, train staff, assist with data hygiene and maintenance, and create web reports. In the past, this position has served as a springboard for advancement for effective, self-motivated individuals looking to achieve their longer-term career goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research and test digital fundraising and communications strategies for the RMPBS portfolio of brands to increase web revenue and demonstrate to donors and prospective members that we know them and their affinities. Create and maintain online donation and event forms, including acting as the key point of contact with select outside vendors. Manage special projects for the Membership Dept as assigned. Work to integrate the organizationís Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with our Content Management System (CMS), which requires acting as a liaison between Membership and Marketing to develop and execute communications and fundraising strategies. Assist with Survey Monkey surveys when needed. Provide back-up to the Marketing and Communications team to segment audience data and send out e-newsletters, club emails, etc. as needed. Perform other duties and lead projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
Four-year college degree required. Experience in fundraising, business, digital communications or a related field preferred. Strong database management skills, preferably with experience using Eloqua and/or roundCause/Salesforce, strongly preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of detail is required. Excellent oral and written English communications skills a must. Strong customer focus necessary. Spanish language skills a plus.
