For 75 years, the Kentucky Broadcasters Association (KBA) has represented the interests of more 300 radio and television station members across the Commonwealth. For only the fourth time in our history, the KBA is seeking a dynamic President/CEO to lead our organization.

The President/CEO is directly responsible for overseeing and selling our Public Education Program (PEP), which is the primary source of funding for our association. The President/CEO also serves on the board of our wholly owned subsidiary, the Kentucky Alliance of Radio and Television (KART), which helps to generate advertising revenue for our member stations.

    • Insuring that all policies and directives are being implemented as directed by the board.
    • Keeping the Chairman and the board fully informed of any issues concerning the operation of the organization.
    • Working with different vendors who provide a myriad of services for our association and our members.
    • Managing the facilities and property of our association headquarters including our relationship with our building tenants.
    • Developing an annual operating budget for board approval.
    • Maintaining tight financial internal controls and appropriate financial safeguards.
    • Assuming fiduciary responsibility and ensuring that the financial management of the association functions according to the direction of the board of directors.
