Brand Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Midwest Communications, Inc. is looking for their next superstar! Duluth is on the shores of Lake Superior, 4 colleges, one of the top tourist destinations in the Midwest and only 2 hours away from the Twin Cities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a Brand Manager with original ideas, experienced in programming and music scheduling and not necessarily the great “voice”. We are not looking for a personality who gives the listeners, “That was…This is” or regurgitates the same prep service stuff every other station in the country is spewing out. We are looking for someone who likes and wants to interact with listeners through personal appearances, on the phone and social media. Someone who is promotionally minded and can generate ideas. We are looking for someone who strives to be the best and is always looking for different ways to get there. Mediocrity is not an option! We are looking for someone who looks for and wants to find ways to get the station out in the community and wants to get involved in the community. We are looking for someone who is energetic and positive on and off the air and is ready to jump in feet first to a fast paced opportunity but also having fun doing their job.

REQUIREMENTS:
For the right person there may be opportunities to work on multiple stations within the market or on stations outside of the market owned by Midwest Communications. If you are looking for a 9 to 5 Monday - Friday job this is NOT the opportunity for you. You will work with new state of the art equipment in a new facility overlooking beautiful Lake Superior! We offer a competitive salary and a full benefits package. This position requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
