The Digital Content Producer leads Bonneville Salt Lake's music stations (103.5 The Arrow, KRSP-FM, and FM100.3, KSFI-FM) efforts to stay current with the latest developments and approaches for online conversation and community engagement. This person will identify and advance conversations generated by the Bonneville Salt Lake's music stations; will create a culture of collaboration, connecting our station's voice with our most influential listeners; and collaborate with programming, promotions, and sales in an effort to unify the Bonneville music stations digital efforts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for working in conjunction with programming to consistently and manage all content published on Bonneville Salt Lake's digital platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, station websites, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
Must have quality graphic design expertise using Adobe Creative Suite. (Please submit your design portfolio showcasing your work.)
Deep understanding of the station's brands in order to appropriately publish content.
Responsible for bridging the gap between Bonneville's digital assets and sales.
Coordinate station's digital marketing efforts, as well as staying on top of trending digital developments.
Able to manage stress effectively.
Work in compliance with Company policies and procedures.
Work effectively in a team environment.
Maintain a positive and cooperative rapport with staff, management and clients.
Consistently works hours required. Works more when required to meet deadlines, including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc.
Project an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
Personal growth and development.
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
College degree in communication, graphic design, marketing, advertising, public relations, business, related field, or equivalent.
Prefer 2+ years successful experience working in graphic design, using Photoshop, Illustrator and Final Cut Pro.
Prefer 2+ years successful experience working in social media, with a deep understanding of social media techniques and tools. Having the ability to research and implement new social media practices is a significant plus. Specifically, experience with Facebook and Twitter ads and analytics, as well as knowledge in the mobile marketing area, to expand the station's voice.
Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems is a plus.
Flexible personality in order to connect programming, promotions and sales.
Self-motivated, creative individual, who can also organize, and consistently display good judgment.
Capable of performing under stress while meeting company deadlines and needs.
Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion.
