On-Air Personality in Duluth

Midwest Communications, Inc. is looking for their next superstar! Duluth is on the shores of Lake Superior, four colleges, one of the top tourist destinations in the Midwest and only two hours away from the Twin Cities.

There may be opportunities for the right person who wants to learn and is very passionate about programming and music scheduling. Midwest Communications offers some of the best tools, resources and teachers the industry has to offer. For the right person there may be opportunities to work on multiple stations within the market or on stations outside of the market owned by Midwest Communications. You will work with new state of the art equipment in a new facility overlooking beautiful Lake Superior! If you are looking for a 9 - 5 Monday - Friday job this is NOT the opportunity for you.

We are looking for an on-air personality with original ideas and not necessarily the great “voice”. We are not looking for the personality who gives the listeners, “That was…This is” or regurgitates the same prep service stuff every other station in the country is spewing out. We are looking for someone who likes and wants to interact with listeners through personal appearances, on the phone and social media. Someone who is promotionally minded and can generate ideas. We are looking for someone who strives to be the best and is always looking for different ways to get there. Mediocrity is not an option! We are looking for someone who looks for and wants to find ways to get the station out in the community and wants to get involved in the community. We are looking for someone who is energetic and positive on and off the air and is ready to jump in feet first to a fast paced opportunity but also having fun doing their job.
