KSL Broadcast Group IT System Administrator (Full-Time)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
POSITION PURPOSE: Provide administration and maintenance of key computer systems for Bonneville International and KSL including hands-on work on hardware, software and operating systems for all departments of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Administration of virtual computing environment on the VMWare platform including setup, configuration, backup and periodic maintenance of hosts and VM's. 2. Administration of Microsoft Active Directory system and structure including setup, creation, troubleshooting and support of domain controllers, DNS, NTP, Security certificates, group policies, users and groups. 3. Administration of Exchange email system including server roles, mail databases, user mailboxes and spam filtering service 4. Monitor, maintain and support data storage systems include 3Par SAN and other storage arrays on the network. 5. Install, configure, repair and maintain PC desktop and server hardware, Applications (including Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, Lync/Communication server, Microsoft SQL, and IIS) and operating systems (including Windows 7, Windows server 2003 and newer, Linux, and Mac OS). 6. Assist in configuring and troubleshooting problems with network wiring, switches and software including IP routing and sub-netting. 7. Assist with evaluation, planning and development of new IT systems as well as upgrades to new versions of existing platforms. 8. Work assigned regular hours with flexibility to work additional hours if needed to meet deadlines including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc. 9. Maintain documentation of infrastructure and systems. 10. Perform data security including backups, and antivirus systems. 11. Provide excellent customer service while under pressure or in difficult situations and communicate effectively in collaborating with other team members or when reporting to supervisor. 12. Work in compliance with Company policies and procedures. 13. Work effectively in a team environment. 14. Project an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.

REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: 1. College degree or equivalent related experience in the computer field, with a minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in related field. 2. Experience with VMWare 5.5 platform including setup, configuration, backup and periodic maintenance of hosts and VM's. 3. Experience in the administration of Microsoft Active Directory system and structure including setup, creation, troubleshooting and support of domain controllers, DNS, NTP, Security certificates, group policies, users and groups. 4. Experience with Exchange 2010 email system including server roles, mail databases, user mailboxes and spam filtering service 5. Experience with 3Par SAN storage (or equivalent) and other network based storage systems. 6. Working knowledge of setup and operation of Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, Lync/Communication server, Microsoft SQL, and IIS and operating systems (including Windows 7, Windows server 2003 and newer). 7. Network troubleshooting skills in configuring network wiring, switches and software including IP routing and sub-netting. 8. Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies and systems, and develop solutions to advance the effectiveness of services offered by the IT Department. 9. Work assigned regular hours with flexibility to work additional hours if needed to meet deadlines including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc. 10. Familiarity with data security systems including backups, and antivirus. 11. Excellent customer service skills while under pressure or in difficult situations. 12. Strong written and verbal communication skills 13. Work effectively in a team environment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively. Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion. Extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination. Sit for long periods of time.
