PC/Network Technician in Fargo

Midwest Communications, Fargo, ND is looking for a PC/Network Technician who will provide technical maintenance support for PC’s, local and/or wide area networks, installation of PC hardware, including peripherals; load programs and prepare systems for users and assist users with applications. This individual may also be involved with operating activities related to telephone and communication line technology. Additional responsibilities will include working in connection with the Network Administrator and/or Director of IS on major projects to include new installations, enhancements, relocations or major upgrades, personally be involved with the installation of all computers, hardware, software and telephone communication line technology on a timely basis, maintain and enhance network integrity, maintains Company computer hardware, software and networking equipment, and provide Midwest approved software applications to end users as needed.
This individual should have strong computer, organizational and analytical skills and the ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of people and personalities as well as a strong knowledge of computer software and hardware; Microsoft Products including but not limited to Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 & 8, 2003 Server, 2008 Server, 2012 Server; networking equipment and technology including but not limited to Cisco/HP Switches.
