RECEPTIONIST/AUDIENCE SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION:
One of the nation`s largest and most cutting-edge public media companies is seeking a driven, customer-focused people person, who is interested in learning and working in multiple facets of our high-performing team. The ideal candidate for the position of Receptionist/Audience Services Representative has a passion for the nonprofit/public media sector and a desire to lead successful customer service interactions on the phone, in-person and through email. This position serves as the front-line contact for anyone visiting our flagship station in Denver, as well as provides back-up support to the Community Engagement, Development team, and various departments as needed. In the past, this entry-level position has served as a springboard for advancement for effective, self-motivated individuals looking to achieve their longer-term career goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS: Four-year college degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Ability to deal in-person and by telephone and email with a variety of individuals with tact and efficiency a must. Demonstrated PC experience to include Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook required. Database and customer service experience desired; interest and experience in community engagement, project coordination, working with volunteers and event planning a plus. Demonstrated excellence as an effective oral and written communicator necessary. Data management skills and great attention to detail desired. Strong customer service skills a must. Spanish language skills a plus.
