Evening On-Air Personality/Radio Promotion Assistant


Host interactive weeknight show on Top 40 radio station; Assist and coordinate in the areas of the promotions department which include image, contests, appearances, station merchandising, advertising and community and public relations; test Comrex connections in studio for remote broadcasts; set up all audio equipment, station banners, displays and produce programming from remote locations; maintain audio equipment within remote broadcast vehicles and designated secure storage areas; manage and revise remote schedules each week; update station websites/social media sites; assist in aspects of the production of commercials and other duties as assigned by manager; must be available to work evenings and weekends.

High School Diploma; College or College Degree a plus.

Candidate must possess strong on-air radio skills; knowledge and experience with pop music and culture; excellent written and verbal communication and delivery skills; ability to work well under pressure; computer proficiency; strong problem solving and organization skills; high work ethic, integrity and standards; ability to meet deadlines and detail oriented; ability to interact with others in a positive manner while working and learning in a fast-paced environment; ability to execute and maximize the impact of promotional opportunities for our stations; ability to reach out and speak to the public; ability to assist the Program Director in overseeing, directing and training a part-time staff by setting a positive example; must be energetic and enthusiastic; open to being coached; graphic & web skills a plus; must have a valid driver`s license.

Working knowledge and understanding of radio and 1+ on air radio experience with similar job responsibilities and requirements preferred
