Morning Talk Show Host, The Morning Blend

Duties: Candidate will co-host a daytime lifestyle program that includes lifestyle and paid content; along with a co-host, will conduct on-air interviews and facilitate product demonstrations; be responsible for any pre-interviews with guests as required prior to the show taping; in addition to on-air duties, the host will assist in any research and segment prep required by the Executive Producer; any pre-taped segments or off-site interviews will be coordinated and conducted by the host as assigned by the Executive Producer; Make public appearances/community involvement; front station promos for both TV and sister radio stations in market; other duties as directed by management.

Skills: Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent delivery skills; strong organizational skills; ability to work well under pressure; strong in-person interviewing skills and on-air presentation; must have strong writing and production skills; knowledge of journalistic standards as related to the on-air presentation; must be able to work well under pressure and with others to develop and execute compelling programming; must be self motivated and creative. Expectation to also be able to work well executing the ideas of others on the team. Experience: Minimum of one to five years on-air hosting experience preferred.

Scheduled Days & Hours: Full-time Education: College degree in Broadcast Journalism or Communication preferred.
