Promotions & Marketing Manager

Shift: Full-Time Education: High School Diploma required; college degree preferred. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational and problem solving abilities; individual must be very detail oriented; negotiation and persuasive communication; enthusiastic and able to develop positive relationships; self-driven & motivated; time management skills; must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines; proven customer service skills; knowledge of marketing principles; working knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Photoshop. Must be able to drive large vehicles; lift and carry heavy equipment and climb ladders. Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record.

Duties: Oversee all station promotions, including station remotes, appearances, van stops, contests & events in collaboration with programming; secure merchandise, tickets and trips for on-air giveaways; develop creative contests; develop and execute client promotions; work with outside vendors to execute marketing programs; create contests and rules; assist in managing web sites; write, edit promotional material; manage budget; schedule/manage street team; work with Program Directors and Operations Manager; understand FCC rules regarding on-air and web based contests and promotions;

Experience: Minimum two years experience in promotions, public relations, special events with radio/media sales preferred and knowledge of the broadcast industry; event planning & execution; supervisory experience; experience with internet/digital/video advertising preferred; proficient in all forms of social media; Scott Studios System, and Vox Pro is a plus.
