WYCQ Inc. is looking to expand our promotions & digital department at our Nashville sports property. Candidate will work with programming and sales departments to ensure on air & digital promotions are executed properly, as well as brainstorm ways to create successful campaigns for stations & station's clients (on air, on line & on site as applicable). Previous digital platform experience is required. Graphic design is a MUST. Individuals must possess creativity and will be heavily involved with creating and designing graphics, banners, etc. for our websites and social media platforms. The candidate must be able to write creative, engaging content and will also need to be able to edit other’s stories. Below are desired skill sets and job related tasks the applicants would be required to implement if the position is offered/accepted. This list isn’t ‘all inclusive’ and varies based on the daily priorities. • Knowledge of Social Media strategy and creating content for fans and engaging with each brand's audience on a daily basis • Understanding all Digital platforms, their benefits & uses o Website maintenance: experience with multiple CMS platforms including WordPress, Drupal, Ruby on Rales; HTML5 is a plus o Updating websites, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram for all stations as needed (Tweet Deck) Checking sites for accuracy & appropriate linking Calendar updates o Contest execution • Content creation/idea generation (write & edit content) o Relative content / news written & added to sites based on formats. Sports: Sports stories & news related to sports Shadow Writing if needed o Graphic design Artwork Logos Banner creation • Video production / editing o Photo shop / photo editing • Individual will work with multiple departments and department managers to help implement, initiate & educate on the various promotional campaigns (digital, station imaging, as well as client driven) o Ability to interact with diverse personalities with different levels of understanding of digital assets, while coaching and assisting the team to create win / win environments for our brands / listeners and clients. • Radio industry knowledge a strong plus but not required • Multi-tasking & prioritizing is MANDATORY.
