The Art Director is responsible for overseeing the creation and implementation of design for support of all the areas of the station including Station Identity/News/Promo/Sales/Web, in all media, video, print and web.
Concept to completion of graphics for news and other on-air projects, video 2D and 3D animations. Concept to completion of graphics, layout and design for print. Concept to completion of banners and page design for web. Work with sales clients and advertising agencies to create product. Position involves in-office work, and on site work performing various tasks concurrently. Extreme high volume of computer graphics. Purchasing and ordering supplies for related print, video and web projects. Coordinate creation of graphics for all media (video/print/web).
Minimum three to five years` experience in broadcast graphic design preferred. Strong computer knowledge in operating systems and be proficient on PC, After Effects, Cinema 4D, PhotoShop, PowerPoint, Corel, Flash, HTML, Microsoft Word, scanning and animation programs. *After Effects and Cinema 4D preferred. Experience with Internet and web page graphics. System/File management experience required.
Four-year college degree preferred. Working knowledge of set design and construction. Reliable self-starter who works well under daily deadline pressure with station departments, sales clients and agencies, and on long-term projects.
