JOB DESCRIPTION:
LOCAL PROGRAMMING CO-HOST (part-time)

KTVK-3TV is accepting applications for the position of Local Programming Co-Host. (This is a part-time position; 10 hours per week.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB DESCRIPTION: Co-Host daily Your Life A to Z. Contribute Your Life show ideas. Talent for other programming and production as needed. Co-Host Your Life A to Z on camera from studio or location, deliver daily show content to viewers. Use personality and conversation, enhanced with humor and insight, to build a comfortable on-air relationship with viewers and guests. Provide excellent client service while maintaining the mission - entertain, inform, inspire. Contribute show content. Research and pitch story/segment ideas on a regular basis.

Promote show growth. Evaluate with staff creative vision of Your Life and recommend concepts and strategies to enhance revenue and ratings. Promote public relations. Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients, guests, crew, and other departments.

REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Degree in Broadcasting or Communications preferred. 2 years professional experience hosting a local program preferred. Ability to convey a show image and show content to targeted demo viewers. Exceptional communication skills, creativity, and detailed knowledge of field production. Computer, phone, Avid iNEWS software.
