Traffic Manager

Manage daily log generation for 2 television stations, 3 digital sub-channels and 4 radio stations. You must supervise and lead team toward accurate placement and running of commercials; pro-actively adjust logs to maximize daily revenue and future inventory; generate reports to support sales management efforts; produce affidavits for trade and barter contracts; provide training to staff; provide individual guidance, direction and coaching to direct reports through performance feedback and developmental recommendations.


Education: High School diploma required; college degree in relevant field preferred. Skills: Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills required; strong problem solving abilities and interpersonal skills; ability to work in fast paced environment with tight deadlines; computer literate; detail oriented with the ability to make independent decisions, troubleshoot and remedy urgent situations quickly and calmly; must be able to work productively and cooperatively with all station departments. You must be familiar with all aspects of inventory control and commercial placement to maximize revenue, and all functions required to produce a log.. Experience: Minimum of three years of traffic experience in TV and radio preferred; Wide Orbit experience very important; prior traffic management experience preferred.
