Broadcast Maintenance Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties:
Maintain all equipment associated with a television and radio facility including Crispin TV automation, Wide Orbit Radio automation, Bitcentral news system, GVG switcher, Nonlinear editing systems, Evertz and the associated engineering computer network. Operate and maintain ENG and Satellite vehicles. Maintenance on Harris, Larcan, and Continental transmitters. Responsibilities include project planning and installation of technical systems as described by their supervisor.

Education:
Associate`s degree in computer information systems, electronics repair or equivalent experience; A+, Network+ or SBE certification preferred.

Skills:
Candidate must be a motivated team player with a strong commitment to exceeding user expectations; must have strong leadership skills and possess excellent communication and organizational skills; high level of analytical and problem-solving abilities; General knowledge in all aspects of television and radio broadcast maintenance preferred. Knowledge of RF transmitters and receivers. Must be able to climb and work from ladders and be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to obtain an Idaho Driver`s License.

Experience:
Minimum of 4 years experience in Radio and Television Engineering.
