Account Executives to help new and existing advertisers grow their business. If you are ready for a challenge, want to work for a dominant CBS affiliate in the Mobile/Pensacola (market 60) and have the desire to work with a dynamic, customer focused sales team, then we want you.
Position is responsible for selling and servicing assigned accounts and development of new accounts within station and departmental guidelines and in a pre-established territory; attainment of assigned budget; completion of necessary paperwork required by departmental guidelines in a timely manner; and perform additional duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the station as may be assigned by management .
College degree preferred. Three to five years experience in local and/or television national sales. Must possess strong negotiation and presentation skills as well as a desire to generate new local direct accounts. Ability to execute 'out of the box' sales and promotional ideas is a must. Must be able to create and sell multi platform sales ideas designed to answer customer's marketing challenges. Must be computer literate; possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, highly motivated, goal directed, and a team player. Position will require occasional exposure to inclement weather.
