JOB DESCRIPTION:
Online Producer that will advance our Continuous News operation by ensuring that our website, mobile and social media platforms are continuously updated with a focus on owning Breaking News and connecting with our viewers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create content for local newscasts and websites associated with MG television stations. Post video elements to WKRG.com and all social media platforms. Take early video segments from field reporters and rapidly edit and post to all platforms to ensure our success with the continuous news concept. Appear on-air as required to deliver news content, breaking news updates and formalized newscast elements as determined on a weekly and daily basis. Interact with Sales Department to implement online sponsorable opportunities. Assist in managing content elements that have strong revenue potential and web user interest.

REQUIREMENTS:
This is a multitasking position that requires strong computer, editing, reporting and on-air skills. Create original content to compliment newscast stories. This involves creation of additional video, photo, text and graphic elements to expand online content via website and social media outlets. Bachelor's level degree. Minimum two years experience in gathering and delivering multi-media content. Journalism, presentation and planning skills. Experience with HTML, Flash, content management systems and Adobe Photoshop required. Knowledge of CSS, Javascript, SML and other development skills preferred
