Shoot, write and edit television news reports, set up live shots, and present those reports live within KGUN9`s newscasts. The position requires driving a station vehicle to news events, and the lifting of camera and associated equipment.
College degree in Broadcast Journalism or Communications preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and delivery skills, strong news judgment, must have strong writing skills which includes copy not just for on-air stories, but for the Internet as well. Excellent live presentation and reporting skills. Must be able to shoot, write and edit television news reports. Sound knowledge of current events. Ability to meet deadlines is a must. Technical ability and knowledge of live equipment a plus. Must have a valid driver`s license.
Minimum 1 year experience as a photojournalist and reporter required.
