Sales/Selling Manager needed for Ramar Communication, Inc. television operation in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ramar Communications operates a Telemundo affiliate in Albuquerque and is adding a second station to its operation. Selling Manager is needed to execute the strategic plan for Albuquerque.
Coaching and developing key staff members, planning annual sales budget and submit within expected timeline, establishing professional relationships with clients and other business leaders in the community, creating, promoting and managing vision of the company and further community involvement, consistent communication with management to discuss market developments affecting the station, competition, and sales practice, developing and implementing strategic sales plans to accommodate long term and short term goals, continual review of marketplace to determine customer needs, price schedules, and rates, directing staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program, conducting sales staff meetings, meeting with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing business, analysis and controls of expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements, preparing sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and sales of proposed client base expansion, managing inventory and rates through coordination with the traffic department, and attending annual planning and management meetings.
Ideal candidate will have market knowledge, superior leadership skills, excel in time management, and have a solid work ethic.
