Broadcast Equipment Maintenance Engineer

KVOA-TV in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a qualified Broadcast Equipment Maintenance Engineer.

The position will provide technical support to broadcast facilities in repair, maintenance, installation and modification of technical broadcasting equipment at a high-definition television facility.

Candidate must have at least 5 years experience at a broadcast facility. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of Windows XP/NT/2000/2003 servers & workstations (Mac OS & Final Cut Pro experience a plus). Applicant should be comfortable troubleshooting computer systems at the component level. Candidate will be required to maintain "on-call" or stand-by status for response to emergency situations on a rotational basis and be able to work highly varied and flexible hours (i.e. nights, weekends, and holidays). Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills are essential. Must be well organized, detail oriented and possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) including a predisposition to providing excellent customer service.
