Peak Morning Show Host

We are seeking a host that will engage with the music we play, is quick witted, communicates localism and relevant information with brevity and a smile, is charitable and philanthropic and will integrate the show with digital media platforms. We`re not looking for the same old morning "show" mentality, rather a fresh approach to getting our listeners` day started.



  • Possess high school education, related field, or equivalent.
  • Ability to generate desired synergism with audience and establishes listenership motivation and loyalty.
  • Two to three (2-3) years on-air experience with a proven record of on-air success which should include:
    • Ability to conduct typical on-air interviews and interact with callers
    • Being conversational, well-read, knowledgeable, and articulate in dealing with current affairs;
    • Variety of characteristics such as spontaneity and flair while also showing depth, good broadcasting judgment, and sensitivity;
    • Ability to enunciate clearly and interpret and read copy fluently;
    • Ability to understand and execute format philosophy and work with a team of other professionals in creating a distinctive sound;
    • Ability to properly operate studio equipment;
    • Ability to accept direction and be flexible with changes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively on multiple digital media platforms such as websites, blogs, podcasts, Facebook and Twitter.
  • Minimum one year experience on-air operating audio consoles and associated studio equipment for both live and automated programming.
  • Experience with set up and operation of remote broadcast equipment
  • Must maintain program logs.
  • Basic computer skills necessary.
  • Work in compliance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative rapport with staff, management, listener, and clients.
  • Consistently works hours required. Works more when required to meet deadlines including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc.
  • Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
  • Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
  • Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion.
