Interactive Local Sales Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
KXRM/KXTU-TV INTERACTIVE LOCAL SALES MANAGER
The Interactive Local Sales Manager is a professional, full-time position, requiring an individual with at least three (3) years` experience in broadcast and/or digital online advertising sales and at least one (1) year with successful supervisory/management experience. The individual in this position will lead and manage all activities of the Sales Staff as it relates to online product offerings and will be responsible for overall attainment of the interactive budget. The ILSM is expected to be very knowledgeable in television advertising sales with a strong understanding of the Internet and Social Media. The ILSM will report to the VP/DOS and work side by side with the Local and Regional/National Sales Managers on equal footing to coordinate sales, strategy, budgeting, and prospecting and will be responsible for the interactive goals of the station. As a key member of the management team, the ILSM must demonstrate excellent communication skills, leadership and the ability to adapt to a changing environment. They must also seek to develop and refine the work routines and skills sets of the sales team and coordinate activities with the Local and National/Regional Sales Managers. The ILSM will manage the interactive sales effort and will help create interactive platforms targeted to the client’s needs. Bachelor's degree preferred.
