GENERAL MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Available: Immediately Shift: Monday - Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for day to day operation of KCWY. Supervise department heads. Develop, approve, and implement annual budget. Develop and implement new sources of revenue. Handle Local Political Advertising. Coordinate National and National Political Advertising with NSM/Rep firm. Help develop and manage new ancillary businesses related to broadcasting. Responsible for developing and directing station marketing efforts. Must stay informed and educated in the areas of digital, high definition, multicasting, and all things related to the digital spectrum. Reports to the President and Chief Operating Officer of Intermountain West Communications Company. Ensure station compliance with FCC requirements. Perform all related duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must understand programming, news, and ratings; and is responsible for implementing change to maximize the stations ratings and revenue. Must show good people skills in both management areas and community relations. Must possess a Wyoming driver’s license or able to obtain one within 30 days of employment with a clean driving record. Include with your resume and salary requirements a letter outlining your philosophy on the future of broadcasting. Understanding of FCC rules for all facets of broadcasting including Political policy.
