Web Coordinator

Serve as the technical and content point person for four FM-associated and one TV-associated websites; implement content for news, programming and sales projects (i.e., banner ads and promotions); write, edit and add content and video to websites; add text, images, and audio content to websites; check websites for quality; work closely with several departments including programming, marketing, news and sales departments on web content; initiate new ways for us to connect with our audience online; help to troubleshoot issues with content management systems; facilitate our staff`s use of web systems; administer, support and train staff on content management systems; support email marketing and contesting efforts; assist with promotional activities and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.


Bachelor`s degree in related field preferred; equivalent experienced considered.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the Internet; basic graphic design skills for the web. Excellent judgment in copywriting and editing; must be able to implement marketing and news strategies; understand, differentiate, and communicate our radio and television brands; strong communication skills and follow up ability; have a strong work ethic; high ethical standards; strong organization and time management skills; strong detail orientation and creative ability; a good understanding of sales and maximizing revenue opportunities; ability to interact in a positive, upbeat manner.

Minimum 1 year experience maintaining website content required, including graphic design and email/database marketing; minimum 2 years experience with Photoshop or equivalent; proficiency in WYSWYG content management tools preferred; working knowledge of the broadcast industry is helpful; ability to work varied schedule as needed.
