KFMB-TV Sales is searching for a National Sales Assistant to support the National Sales Manager.
This position is responsible for acting as liaison between the Station, our national rep firm and national account managers. Responsibilities include: Coordinating television sales orders; Handling airtime scheduling (order input, revisions, cancellations, preemptions, make-goods, and discrepancies); Assisting clients (e.g. creating sales presentations and proposals; preparing one-sheet proposals; or pulling spot information and invoices); Answering phone/email inquiries; Resolving discrepancies; and Preparing or distributing reports as needed. Position may also be required to assist the local sales assistants and respond to requests from Sales Managers or Account Executives.
Candidates must be customer Service and detail oriented, be able to multi-task and should possess solid communication and organization skills. Must be computer literate with a proficiency in Word, Power Point and Excel. 1-2 years TV sales experience required; however, previous National Sales experience preferred; AS degree desired.
