WTVY-TV News 4, the CBS affiliate and dominant number one station in Southeast Alabama, is looking for a Morning Meteorologist to join our award-winning weather team and be responsible for the weather coverage in our Morning and Noon newscasts.
The ideal candidate will have experience covering severe weather events live-on-air and be comfortable working with different weather systems. Our weather office is equipped with Baron Services Omni Plus, Vipir HD Radar and our own Live Doppler Radar, and a SkyCam network. Dothan is about 90 miles from the World`s Most Beautiful Beaches in Panama City, so we do full-scale hurricane coverage... but you don`t have to worry about your house being gone when its over! We also have our fair share of tornadoes, flash flooding, and drought conditions, but snow and ice are a rarity (which we think is a bonus!)
