Are you looking for an opportunity to use your passion and knowledge of arts and culture to inspire and inform the citizens of Colorado? Do you value the role public media plays in the community? Rocky Mountain PBS, KUNC, and KUVO invite you to become its first Arts & Culture Reporter/Host. This is truly a unique opportunity that has been created by three of the leading Colorado public media organizations.
Rocky Mountain PBS, KUNC and KUVO are strongly committed to providing quality and engaging arts & culture reporting in Colorado. Together we have created an Arts & Culture Reporter/Host position that will greatly increase our ability to cover this topic on multiple media platforms. Topics will include, but are not limited to, cultural issues, literature, music, museums, festivals, film & television, dance, art, art education, and culinary arts. The Arts & Culture Reporter/Host will produce weekly content to be used on radio and digital platforms and monthly content to be used on the newly created Rocky Mountain PBS television show “Arts District”.
The ideal candidate possesses a vast knowledge of the art and culture scene in Colorado, including multi-cultural organizations, relationships with individual arts and cultural leaders, and significant community events. He/she displays strong interview, writing and productions skills. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. A complete job description is available at kunc.org.
