KMSB FOX 11 and The Home of Comedy are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our team. KMSB/KTTU are part of Belo Corp., one of the nation’s largest media companies that own a diversified group of market-leading television and interactive media assets.
Assist Director of Sales, Local and National Sales Managers, and Account Executives with orders, revisions, posts, reports, copies, creating presentations and spreadsheets, phones, faxes, etc. Responsible for keeping track of a variety of information, including data, rates, speadsheets, presentations, trade agreements and correspondance. Coordinate with other departments to ensure that everyone’s needs are met accordingly. Answer phones and provide information to clients and viewers. Track and maintain inventory reports and rate cards on a weekly basis. Back-up for national desk and traffic department and other duties as assigned.
Qualified applicants will be well organized, efficient, proactive, able to multi-task on a variety of diverse projects, and perform well under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are imparative, as well the ability to deal with a wide range of personalities and maintain a calm demeanor while working in a fast-paced environment. Technically proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and the internet is essential. Prior media experience and knowledge of sales systems (OSi, OneDomain, Matrix, CMR, Medialine) a plus.
