Sales Account Executive

DESCRIPTION: Perform sales tasks in accordance with established Company policies. Follow-up on new business inquiries. Service existing accounts. Develop, sell and close local accounts, as assigned. Establish and maintain harmonious business relationships with local advertising agencies. Assist in collection of delinquent accounts. Assure that flow of pertinent information with respect to advertising copy, local sales orders, contracts, costs and special fees is correct and properly directed. Bring changes and trends in local sales market , conditions to the attention of the Sales Director and make recommendations. Recommend ideas for promotion and commercial program development to Sales Director. Assist the Sales Director in securing market data and information for purposes of developing effective sales aids. Regularly analyze and review sales development progress with the Sales Director. Records of sales and service calls must be maintained to ensure adequacy of review. Participate in programs and courses designed to encourage self-development and professional improvement.


Position Requirements: Previous broadcast sales experience needed. Good communication skills and attention to follow-through. Must be self-motivated individual with decision-making skills. High energy level. Minimum Qualifications: College degree preferred. The successful candidate will be required to pass a background check prior to beginning employment.
