To support the talk show producers creating innovating show programs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Collaborate with producers of the Doug Wright Show and The Browser. 2. Record and dub requested audio for replay. 3. Identify appropriate excerpts for soundbites within longer audio segments. 4. Propose additional production elements in a proactive manner. 5. Print live copy and announcements for show host. 6. Maintain confidentiality by not discussing internal KSL matters, company strategies, client's proprietary information, personnel matters, wage and salary information or any other sensitive information with clients, competitors, listeners, the media or inappropriately with co-workers and by not distributing our proprietary research or any other information with our competitors. 7. Able to manage stress effectively. 8. Work in compliance with Company policies and procedures. 9. Work effectively in a team environment. 10. Maintain a positive and cooperative rapport with staff, management, and clients. 11. Consistently works hours required. Works more when required to meet deadlines including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc. 12. Project an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor. 13. Personal growth and development. 14. Other duties as assigned.
• Two (2) years post high school education in communication, journalism, related field or equivalent. • One (1) year commercial broadcast journalism experience or equivalent. • Willing to accept responsibility and work under moderate supervision while resolving varied problems, which require general knowledge of company’s policies and procedures. • Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and assure that shift personnel receive material for broadcast on time as the services performed affect company image, clients and the listening audience. Errors may incur financial or time loss. • Be flexible to perform unscheduled assignments. • Proven ability to handle stress. • Work in compliance with Company policies and procedures. • Work effectively in a team environment. • Maintain a positive and cooperative rapport with staff, management, and clients. • Consistently works hours required. Works more when required to meet deadlines including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc. • Project an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively. • Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. • Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination. • Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion.
