Sales Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are currently looking for a Sales/Traffic Assistant! This individual must possess strong analytical skills and an ability to collaborate with the Sales Management team to maximize revenue through the implementation of perishable inventory management strategies. Successful applicant should be a strong communicator, demonstrate an ability to think strategically and possess unquestionable professionalism and integrity. Services and assists clients (advertising agencies, media buyers and station managers) when needed. Perform a variety of clerical and administrative activities to support the entire Sales Department. The Sales Assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of information and follow up for existing and prospective clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be an excellent communicator. Ability to handle many tasks at once and to prioritize workload. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies. Primary Duties include but are not limited to: processing sales data, sales progress reports and other sales related records and reports. Execute digital sales insertion orders, track digital assets and inventory. Data entry to include entering and confirming orders, PO’s and copy issues research and lead generation. Assist in daily business – research, sales orders, client services, campaign execution and support. Create and update sales presentations sales reporting resources. Daily airchecks and spot times collected and sent to clients in a timely and efficient manner. Assist Sales Managers, with other duties as assigned. Assist with Traffic and Continuity Departments to ensure smooth execution of sales orders, missing copy and instructions.

REQUIREMENTS:
High School Graduate, 2 or 4 year college graduate preferred Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate successfully with highly engaged teams Proven ability to negotiate and partner effectively with strong personalities. Must be able to work under extreme deadlines and heavy work load. Create high quality proposals/presentations. Being a team player is important to be successful in this position. Must be computer literate (Microsoft Suite) and have willingness and ability to learn new industry related programs and processes Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and respond to request in a timely manner. Attention to detail Ability to handle tight deadlines and related.
