We have a great opportunity for a person who wants to tell compelling news stories and experience a very unique part of the world. You don’t even have to leave the country to do it! KTUU, Alaska’s top news station, has an opening for a News Reporter/MMJ. We’re looking for someone who’s aggressive and isn’t afraid to dig for stories. We’re seeking a reporter who likes to tell stories about people and how the issues of the day affect Alaskans. Anchorage is market size 145. However, we have the look and feel of a top 50-market.
You must be a strong writer and someone who knows how to shoot and edit video and natural sound. We also require candidates to have experience with live shots. Knowledge of producing and anchoring preferred. This is not an entry level position so we’re looking for someone with at least one year of news reporting experience. Additional requirements for this position: *Current driver license with a clean driving record. *Valid passport (or must apply for one within 30 days of hire).
