Anchor/Reporter - WMTW-TV, Portland Maine
WMTW-TV, the Hearst Television station in Portland, Maine, is searching for an experienced Anchor/Reporter to fill an opening in our News Department.
We’re looking for a team player with a solid anchoring/reporting background. Duties will include anchoring 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts on the weekends, and reporting three days a week.
The ideal candidate must have excellent writing and presentation skills. The individual must be able to handle breaking news and exercise strong editorial judgment both at the desk and in the field. The ideal candidate must be an aggressive and accurate reporter who knows how to dig up a story and then tell it in a clear, compelling and concise way.
