| Description: Produce regularly-scheduled newscasts; work closely with news, production and creative services departments to create compelling editorial and visual content; oversee story development and placement within newscast; coordinate on-air execution of news product. Must be strong writer, who can multi-task and work effectively under deadline pressure. Must have ability to produce, as needed, special broadcasts and projects; write copy for the KGUN9.com website, and other duties as assigned by managers.
Responsibilities: Requirements: Education: College degree with broadcast communication or journalism emphasis preferred. Skills: Candidate must have strong writing, news judgment and organizational skills; knowledge of broadcast newsroom operations essential; ability to work closely with others under deadline pressure; ability to coordinate all elements for newsroom production; excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary. Experience: Minimum of one year news producing experience; must have proven track record producing newscasts for a commercial television station.
