| Description: Fox Charlotte is looking for a FULL TIME PRODUCER to help us with expertise in all of our news programming.
Responsibilities: Requirements: We are looking for someone with at least two years experience. Producer requirements: A producer will oversee a show from conception to completion. Producers should be familiar with all aspects of television production, and television news production - including editing, assignment desk operation, videography, and floor production. Producers work closely with talent, photographers, directors and production staff. Specific professional requirements include, but are not limited to: - Daily journalistic awareness of happenings and events - locally, nationally, and internationally. - Ability to recognize, digest and implement the specific news philosophy of FOX Charlotte. - Ability to generate and write compelling, interesting, and entertaining stories and segments; both from a content and a presentation standpoint, as defined by station management. - Professional telephone courtesy and behavior at all times. - Being cognizant and versed in "new media" venues, such as Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Google+, etc. Ability to identify trending topics, new memes, and popular content. - Ability to recognize and address situations that impact our on-air content in a timely, clear concise manner. Physical Requirements: Ability to work within an open cubicle environment while maintaining focus Ability to communicate orally and in writing clearly and concisely in a deadline environment Ability to work in a confined space such as a booth during live shows Ability to maneuver around studio with cables, cameras, and sets as needed to perform job Ability to isolate and discern conversation in a boisterous environment, including listening and reacting to many sources while wearing a headset.
