Radio ENCO Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Primary job responsibilities for ENCO Specialist consist of providing first point of contact to Traffic, Programming and Production on all ENCO Automation related issues. As the first point of contact, you will research and determine the problem(s) and steps required to correct any issues brought to your attention by the various departments as they pertain to the ENCO System. As part of this you will be on-call status for any alarms that are signaled that pertain to the ENCO System and loss of audio, signal, missing logs and issues pertaining to live remotes and other live features that require support to correct any issues in the ENCO System. On-call means that you may be contacted any time day or night to look into and resolve issues or alarms as needed. Issues can be resolved in a matter of minutes to 30-60 minutes on rare occasions. As such, you are expected to be responding to alarms in a timely manner and be ready to perform the tasks necessary to correct any issues that are found.

Additionally, from time to time you will be asked to assist in Radio Production. This may include conceptualizing, producing, writing, and editing creative service materials for promotion, sales, and special projects for the stations on-air and digital media products. Additional responsibilities include making any necessary changes to radio spots as needed.

POSTION PURPOSE:

The Accounts Payable Clerk will make a full contribution to the Corporate Accounting Department by accurately, timely and efficiently performing assigned accounts payable functions; to effectively communicate with others; to be cognizant of and abide by company policies and procedures; assure confidentiality of financial information and to fully support the companys vision statement.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare invoices to be scanned and processed in automated accounts payable front-end system
Insure all large vendor invoices are obtained and input previous to A/P monthly close
Scrutinize invoices and check requests for reasonableness and proper account numbers to ensure that company policies are followed. Any exceptions should be brought to the attention of management
Audit employee expense reports and pay cards for compliance with company and IRS guidelines
Match pay card reports and receipts with bank billing statement
Reconcile and create the pay card journal entry for input to the GL
Calculate and submit sales and use tax returns for applicable markets in a timely manner
Post construction in progress (CIP) invoices to Capital POs
Create and manage spreadsheets to properly allocate invoices as necessary
Fill out any requests for tax or federal I.D. numbers
Set up new vendors as needed ensuring tax or federal ID numbers are included from vendor/prize winners for 1099 purposes on all new entries
Provide financial information to employees, department heads and vendors as needed
Ad hoc Accounts Payable tasks as needed and assist with special projects
Reconciliation of AP payments to ensure items properly posted and accounted for
Cross-train in other areas as needed
Work in compliance with Company policies and procedures
Consistently work hours required to meet deadlines including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc.
