Objective: KSL NewsRadio is pleased to announce the availability of a digital content internship in the News Department. This internship is designed to provide valuable experience for students interested in the intersection of digital content and traditional radio journalism. The internship will be an in-depth, hands-on experience to help the interested student better understand the news-gathering and reporting process, along with distributing news content to a number of different audiences.

As part of the digital content team, interns will have the opportunity to be involved in numerous functions including podcasting, video editing, audio editing and social media. Through these experiences, interns will be able to develop skills in these functions, along with increasing writing abilities, research techniques, social media strategy, and social journalism.

The internship will cover a semester period from January-April with approximately 16-20 hours per week. The schedule will be determined between the intern and their intern coordinator at KSL.

·         Report to the NJ101.5 Brand Manager and Programming DME.

·         Answer phone and screen callers to the on-air program, selecting only the best calls for interaction with the host

·         Assist the host in coordinating guests and appearances

·         Assist the host with research on compelling content for both on-air and on-line

·         Incorporate listener online comments, Tweets, Facebook posts, and poll results into the show

·         Maintain the show pages on

·         Create videos of what is happening on-air – bits, callers, spontaneous moments, etc

·         Create real-time digital content on that becomes part of the show (polls, photos, etc)

·         Create website posts based on what is happening on the show – best moments, compilations of listener responses, etc

·         Participate in regular digital programming meetings to brainstorm show ideas, online content ideas, promos, stunts, etc

·         Leverage search and social data to drive on-air and online programming ideas

·         Contribute to on-air, digital, and social media content

·         With the supervision of the DME, they will updating hourly topics at, push out content via social media, publish photos, video, and other insider content

·         Work with the hosts to create compelling digital and social media content to maximize reach both on-air and on-line

·         Identify the best on-air segments, calls, guests, and other content to be highlighted on all platforms

·         The potential to interact with host on air.

·         Help setting up remote broadcasts

Position: We are seeking a Web and SharePoint Developer to join our team on a full time, temporary basis. The Web and SharePoint Developer we are looking for must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with individuals of all levels within our organization.  Balancing user current needs with a focus on the future, creating and enhancing sites and workflows that enhance productivity, and crisp designs with a focus on UX are hallmarks of this role.

This position plays a key role in continuing to build out Bonnevilles existing SharePoint infrastructure and deliver enhanced business efficiencies through process improvements and workflow automation. This position requires a highly motivated, self-starting professional, who can balance multiple responsibilities and initiatives.  He/she must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and be able to perform a variety of tasks under time pressure.  This is an exciting opportunity for a progressing Web and SharePoint professional to utilize their expertise in a rewarding and creative environment while gaining valuable experience for continued career growth.
