Bonneville International is seeking a dynamic Promotions Specialist to assist in meeting and exceeding goals set forth for the Marketing / Promotions / Special Events Departments. The right individual will contribute to the teams overall growth and development of the team, its protocols, workflows, & procedures. In addition, we need someone who will consistently achieve or exceed in their assigned tasks.
Assist the Promotions Director in all aspects of the stations Day to Day Promotions, Marketing and Events related efforts, including, but not limited to the generation of proposals, presentations, schedules, and/or weekly digital campaigns.
Position will require assisting in the planning, implementation, execution & fulfillment of all promotions & events for the department which may include, but is not limited to, On-Air, On-Line (digital & social media platforms), and On-Site execution.
Candidate must have strong organizational & communication skills with the ability to adhere to tight deadlines, be able to improvise and change plans at a moments notice, have the ability to manage several projects with great attention to detail.
Must be resourceful, and self-sufficient. Strong copy writing and leadership skills a plus.
Assist in the management of all promotional inventory & assets, while assisting with all station prize fulfillments and the required documentation (internal & external) associated with this task and company compliance.
This position requires a high degree of interaction with the public at large and all interoffice departments.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Project Coordinator, Promotions and Marketing experience all a plus
Experience with Promo-Suite, Microsoft, Wordpress, Wide Orbit, Adobe Audition, Second Street platforms a plus
Previous event planning, marketing, advertising or promotional background preferred.
Clean Driving Record and Valid California Drivers License is a must
MUST be available for weekend and/or evening work throughout the year
MUST have a strong passion for the KBLX brand and the URBAN lifestyle and culture with an understanding of the 18 54 demos & the competitive landscape of the San Francisco / Bay Area market.
Applicants will need to have a very strong attention to detail, exceptional problem solving skills, be resourceful, and be very social savvy.
Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively
Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination
Lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion
